Mathew Knowles made an appearance on British talk show “Lorraine” this morning where he promoted his new girl group and gushed about his new granddaughter saying, “You just want to love and kiss her but the great thing with grandkids is that you can give them back.”
And it seems as though he and Bey are back on speaking terms as he told Lorraine,
“I was with Blue Ivy two days ago, I had her in my arms and was singing a song I used to sing to Beyonce and then after I finished singing the song she kind of went, ‘Ahhhh.'”
He added that with all of their riches, Jay-Z and Beyonce will stop at nothing to make sure Blue Ivy has options and can choose any career she wants.
“If Blue Ivy wants to be a doctor when she grows up then they would figure how to buy a hospital.
“If she wants to be a basketball player I already own a WNBA team so she can play there and if she wants to be a singer then she would be very happy.”
Later, Mathew spoke at Heart FM’s Have A Heart event where he denied that Bey demanded £31million to be a judge on this year’s X Factor USA.
“It would never happen as Beyoncé would never do that. “There are a few things that she would never do and that is one. “It’s not for her.”
However, he had nothing but praise for Kelly Rowland on the UK version saying,
“Kelly Rowland is doing a great job and I’m glad to see that Simon Cowell is having her back.”
