(Prince George’s Co., MD)  —  Prince George’s County Police Chief Mark Magaw will hold a press conference this morning to update the public on what was a very violent weekend.  Eight people were shot in four separate incidents between Friday night and yesterday morning.  Two men and one woman died.

Corporal Mike Rodriguez with Prince George’s County police say there were many shootings across the county.  Nineteen-year-old Lester Flores-Quintanilla of Alexandria was killed early Saturday in the two-thousand block of Woodberry Street in Lewisdale.  Another man was killed in the 27-hundred block of Judith Avenue in District Heights at about 8:20 yesterday morning.  Another man was shot in the same incident, but survived.  On Saturday evening, a woman was shot and killed in the 35-hundred block of Terrace Drive in the Suitland/Silver Hill area.  The violent weekend kicked off when three men were shot Friday night on Northwest Drive in Adelphi.  Police have scheduled their press conference for 10:30 this morning at police headquarters in Palmer Park.
