The 2012 Radio One DC Media Appreciation Day Awards Lunch Wednesday, March 7th, 2012

The 2012 Radio One DC Media Appreciation Day Awards Lunch will be held Wednesday, March 7th, 2012 from 11am until 12:30pm.

This year, honorees will be Aisha Karimah, Community Affairs Director at WRC-TV (NBC-4) and Tony Perkins, Weather Anchor and News Anchor (WTTG-TV).

The special affair will be held at the stations new facility located at 8515 Georgia Avenue Silver Spring, MD.

Each year, Radio One DC acknowledges area newsmakers who have paved the way for others through journalism excellence and community service.
