D.C. teacher Jill Chenet drowned on Wednesday night while swimming with her husband at a beach in North Carolina. The River School teacher was pregnant, according to NBC Washington. Sources report:
The Virginian-Pilot reports that rescuers found Jill Chenet and her husband Matthew Chenet floating 20 yards from the shore. Jill, 31, was six months pregnant, and she and the baby were pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Her husband, Matthew, is currently in critical condition.
