(Washington, DC) — Metro will begin testing a new pay-by-phone parking program starting today. Drivers parking at the Rockville and Fort Totten Metro stations will be able to pay for metered spots with their phones. Drivers will be able to pay with Parkmobile, which is the same app used in the District. General parking rates will be the same as usual, but Parkmobile charges an extra 32 cents per transaction.
