George Zimmerman–the self proclaimed neighborhood watch captain responsible for fatally shooting unarmed teen, Trayvon Martin has been a consumer of social media despite the crime that he allegedly committed. From Twitter to Facebook to his own personal site, Zimmerman wanted to stay connected to his supporters via the internet and each medium was allowing him to directly connect to said supporters.
However, Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara decided that Zimmerman didn’t need a Facebook page anymore. Oh no! Where will I go to “Poke” Zimmerman now?
As reported in Huffington Post, Zimmerman’s facebook page has been leading to unhelpful decisions. O’Mara says the Facebook page served several purposes over the past three months, including giving Zimmerman and the defense team an official social media presence, but O’Mara says it also allowed for discussions of evidence and Zimmerman’s guilt or innocence.

And nothing good can come to George when folks with common sense hop on his page and are able to spell out exactly why Zimmerman is guilty, I’m sure. If you’re going through withdrawals of seeing Zimmerman online, never fear–www.GZLegalCase.com is still alive and well.
