AIDS Walk Washington is a fundraising walk and 5k timed run benefiting and produced by Whitman-Walker Health, a non-profit community-based health organization which provides dependable, high-quality, comprehensive and accessible health care to those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. The event will be held Saturday, October 27th, 2012 from 8am until 12pm.

The walk will begin and end at Freedom Plaza (Pennsylvania Avenue and 13th Street, NW). The closest Metro stations are Federal Triangle (Blue / Orange lines) andMetro Center (Blue/Orange/Red lines).
