Fans were disappointed all of G.O.O.D. Music wasn’t featured on their first compilation project Cruel Summer. many were especially perplexed Q-Tip and Mos Def didn’t make appearances on on the disc. Legendary rapper Q-Tip said there was good reason because there is a follow-up album in the works.

The Queens rapper/producer was asked why he was missing on the Cruel Summer set and he offered his apologies to the fans. He responded, “I know, I know, I’m sorry about that but I have to let the cat out of the bag. Kanye’s probably gonna get…” before he finished his statement, Q-Tip called fellow G.O.O.D. Music soldier Pusha T over another side of the BET Hip-Hop Awards red carpet.

Once Pusha was by his side, Q-Tip continued,”If there’s a Cruel Summer then there’s got to be a Cruel Winter, right?”

The first compilation from Kanye West‘s camp debuted on the Billboard charts at number two selling 205,000 copies in its first week. Are you hyped about the idea of a Cruel Summer sequel? What do you think it will sound like? which one is going to be the better album? Sound off in the comments.
