I guess we can officially add T-Boz to the list of people who aren’t cool with the idea that Nicki Minaj is a judge on American Idol. In a recent interview with ThisIsMax, Tionne makes it clear that Onika has no business at that judging table…maybe at a strip club, but not a judging table.
In the video, T-Boz said:
“I don’t respect half the people I’ve seen lately. and especially not Nicki Minaj. Just because you’re on TV gyrating and boning and sucking peni***, it’s not talent, honey. Maybe in the porn industry, but over here, we entertain,” she said of new hyper sexualized acts.
“How the hell is she gonna tell me what I should be doing when her ass can’t even sing. Why is she on American Idol? And now they’ve got rappers that don’t even sing judging? So, this is totally based off of popularity I guess. I mean, to each their own. Get your money, honey. All I’m saying is, I will never watch your shows again.”
After the interview hit the net, fans sent messages defending Nicki Minaj’s role on Idol. T-Boz replied with the following set of messages:
