HBO always brings a good series.  Sadly, an important actor from one of them has passed away.

Robert F. Chew was found dead yesterday morning.  The actor was most known for his role as “Proposition” Joe Stewart on the hit television series The Wire.  The actor was a Baltimore, Maryland resident, and was found in his home after dying in his sleep.  Here is what TMZ reports:

According to the coroner in Baltimore, Chew died of cardiovascular disease. “Morbid obesity” was listed as a contributing factor.

Although Chew didn’t have much work after The Wire, he did however work with Baltimore’s youth.  Robert F. Chew was a mentor with the Arena Players, which is based in Baltimore.  The program helped young youth and teens with acting in Baltimore.

Robert F. Chew will definitely be remembered for his role in The Wire, and his role in life.
