Last night at the BET Awards one of the pioneers in the Funk era and group member of the famous “GAP Band “Charlie Wilson was honored with the ” Life Time Achievement” award for decades of musical success.
Charlie Wilson was presented his award by Justin Timberlake, in which Justin baited him into performing some of his classic songs such as “You Are” and ” You Dropped A Bomb On Me” from his days as a member in The Gap Band.
Before, his tribute was over he performed an array of collaborated hit songs such as ” Beautiful and Signs” alongside Justin Timberlake, Pharrell and Snoop Dogg.
