Basketball Wives Evelyn Lozada assistant Nia Crooks has dodged the bullet of facing jail time from physically attacking Basketball Wives reality co-star Jennifer Williams. Now if we all remember that episode from season 4 Basketball wives, Nia Crooks had no reason and or right to put her hands on Jennifer. The situation was very uncalled for and Jennifer did right by filing a lawsuit against Ms. Crooks.

The lawsuit was filed because Jennifer stated she was in “mental shock” and wanted her medical expenses paid. TMZ reports “Nia was charged with misdemeanor battery by the Broward County State Attorney’s Office… Nia faced up to a year in jail, but decided to strike a deal with prosecutors and pled no contest.”

Certainly, the incident was caught on VH1’s camera so Ms. Crooks had no other choice but to work with prosecutors and save her from facing jail time. Yet, if you ask me, she should have gotten jail time. She basically pimp slapped Jennifer out this world. One could hear the impact of the slap that knocked the taste out of Jennifer’s mouth. Jennifer didn’t even know it was coming! I would have been in “mental shock” as well! Shoot, Jen should have fallen on the floor and really gave the cameras a show!

Nia you are one lucky woman. In exchange of a jail sentence, you get 1-year of probation, a $645 fine which is not enough. You must write a letter of apology which is lame and most likely not going to be sincere. In addition to staying away from Jennifer which is your best bet if you do not want to see those bars. Lastly, you must undergo 13 weeks of anger management.

All in all, this is going way too easy on you. I hope this teach you never to put your hands on anyone else.
