The 93.9 WKYS Block Party at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens Park in NE DC was a huge success. Attendees of our free event got to enjoy a fun, safe night with free food and drinks, party music from our own DJ Money and DJ Gemini, as well as awesome performances from top local music talent such as Kingpen Slim, Main Girl, Reesa Renee, Phil Ade and Black Alley. The event was capped off from an exclusive performance from chart-topping rapper French Montana with special guest former NBA all-star Steve Francis. Our very own on-air personalities Angie Ange, Deja Perez, EZ Street, Kelson, DJ Flava, Albert from the Russ Parr Morning Show and Coka-Lani also helped keep the night turned up. A big special thanks goes out to all of our event sponsors for their help in making this happen and everybody who came out to have a good time!
