The Dream is a very talented singer and songwriter. He has produced and wrote for some of the best like Rihanna, Britney Spears, Diddy, Usher, and King Bey. Not only does he create magic behind the mic, but he does it in front of the mic as well. The Dream has five studio albums and four Grammy Awards. There is no doubt that this man and music go hand and hand.
Since The Dream came on the scene, he has been signed to Def Jam. It was today that he announced via Instagram and Twitter, that he would be leaving Def Jam after being signed for six years. The words used for his departure, “I will miss this logo. It all started here! Love Everything that I achieved there, EXODUS THE-DREAM#exodusthedream”. He also went on to say “Creativity! My own Time my own Way. Just me and spat my Engineer at the Time. No label at All! Perfect “.
With that being said, we can clearly see that The Dream has moved on quickly to bigger and better things. As a fan of The Dream and all the work he has done, I am excited to see what he will create now that he has the control to do so.
