Now if most of you are like us you are scratching your head and saying huh? But you read the title correctly World Star Hip Hop released a documentary that chronicles what it is like for a handful of rappers trying to make it in the game in some of Chicago’s most violent neighborhoods.

Yes this is the exact same World Star known for inciting the creation of violent homemade videos that encourage people to shout out “World Starrrrr” while mauling each other in the front yard.  However it’s actually impressive that they were the ones to go into a virtual war zone and document the real world problems of these youngsters whose lives are in peril every single day.

According to MTV News the doc follows the lives of; Lil Durk, King L, Young Chop, Lil Mouse, Lil Herb, Lil Bibby and Lawless Inc. CEO Larry “Larro” Wilson and is directed by Mandon Lovett.

Said Chicago rapper Rhymefest,

“We dealing with a new generation, these new kids growing up without mamas or daddies. When your mama gone and your mama don’t give a f— about you, you know what that makes? A killer, because he don’t care no more.”

We aren’t sure what the outcome will be for these youngsters or their families but we hope their stories involve happy resolutions to their issues…but upon further thought we guess once you’ve experienced hell on Earth..anything is pretty much a step up.
