Nicki Minaj was the only female artist tapped for the 2014 ‘Music’ Issue for ESPN. She graces 1 of 3 covers with other great sport athletes. Although she felt “honored” to be featured, but what she isn’t happy with is her photos being re-touched. As she posted images from her shoot with the sports magazine, she blasted ESPN for stretching her forehead.

Nicki Minaj posted the cover of ESPN feature with Kobe Bryant on her Instagram.

She captioned the picture with, “When retouching goes wrong.”

As she posted other pictures from her shoot, she continued to sound off.

“I love my personal unretouched photos where my forehead doesn’t mysteriously grow in length.”

First seeing her feature, you don’t notice the stretching of her forehead. Now after seeing the un-retouched pictures, it’s definitely been exaggerated. Does Nicki’s venting about her “touch up” make her seem ungrateful?

UPDATE:

ESPN Magazine Editor-in-Chief, Chad Millman, spoke to The Huffington Post via email about Minaj’s complaints. “While we occasionally make minor visual and cosmetic adjustments to cover images, we do not significantly change a person’s unique physical characteristics. The folks on our covers are too proud of their bodies to stand for that. The forehead Ms. Minaj walked in with is the one on the cover and we’re thrilled she participated.”
