Well, this is awkward.
Its seems that Jay-Z and Kanye West’s friendship has its limits. The Daily Star is reporting that Jay is willing to forgo being at Kanye’s side on one of the most important days of his life. Jay-Z allegedly agreed to be Kanye’s best man under the condition that he and his family would not be filmed for reality television. Unfortunately, knowing reality TV queens Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, it’s a safe bet that there will be a second edition of “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding” and that Jay will not be at Ye’s side.
The decision to not be on camera looks to be a family one.
“The thought of popping up in KUWTK mortifies Beyoncé,” The Daily Star quotes. “She purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn’t prepared to lower her standards for anyone, or any occasion.”
It is unclear whether or not the Carters will be at the wedding at all if E!’s cameras are there, but this is definitely an awkward point for Ye and Jay’s friendship. Even more awkward is trying to figure out if there is anyone else in Kanye’s life to fill the position.
PEOPLE has confirmed that Kimye will be tying the knot on May 24 in Paris.
