If certain lawmakers would have their way, life in the district could get a little more unsafe. With all of the talk surrounding gun ownership and carrying a gun in the district is a ‘Hot Topic’, a federal judge has ruled that a ban on citizens carrying handguns in the Washington, DC is unconstitutional.
While a decision hasn’t been made yet, lawmakers are asking a federal judge to strike down the ban.
Fox 5 reports that Police Chief, Cathy Lanier, has instructed officers not to arrest citizens who have registered firearms.
With all of this gun-talk, it seems that we’re getting closer and closer to allowing ‘The Purge’ to happen in real life.
