After publicly bashing Young Money/Cash Money on Twitter, Tyga continues to spew his discontent with the record label in an interview published by VIBE.
Per the aforementioned tweets, the Los Angeles rapper gave off the impression that the delay of his The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty album was the cause of his strife. It appears that his strife with the house that Brian and Ronald [Williams] built is much deeper than that, though. That includes issues with the Drake and Nicki Minaj.
“I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki,” Tyga said after revealing that he’d like to go independent. “I don’t like Drake as a person,” he continued. “He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together.”
It’s not like these situations are uncommon. Effectively teaming up artists with personalities and getting them to mesh well takes a coach’s precision. Ask Phil Jackson
