Richard “Scott” Silverthorne, the Mayor of Fairfax, Virginia was arrested and charged with felony distribution of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. According to reports Silverthrone, who has been mayor of Fairfax since 2012 distributing meth through a website used to arrange casual sexual encounters between men.
In an undercover sting operation, Silverthrone allegedly gave meth to an undercover detective in exchange for a sexual encounter at a hotel. His distributors was also arrested.
