Marshawn Lynch

It’s only been a few months since he retired from the NFL, but Marshawn Lynch is reportedly mulling over a comeback. The news comes from Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, who said Lynch’s return to the game is definitely a possibility.

I’m told that he’s currently up in the air about a potential return,” Florio said during NBC’s NFL pregame show.

If “Beast Mode” does decide to return to the turf, it’s likely to happen within the next few weeks.

Keep an eye on week four or week five for the possibility of an unretirement,” Florio added.

Lynch retired while he still had a few seasons left, so a comeback isn’t too surprising, especially to ex teammate Richard Sherman. When he was asked three months ago if he thought Lynch would ever return, he responded, “I don’t put anything past him. He’s about as predictable as a pair of dice. So I don’t try to call his plays.”

If the 30-year-old decides to come back, the Seattle Seahawks could be a viable option. Although the Russell Wilson-led squad is pretty set at the running back position with two solid options in Thomas Rawls or Christine Michael.

The return of Beast Mode could be upon us, and for $9 million, the Seahawks could get it done.
