WITH ALL DO RESPECT EVERY SINCE THEY START DOING THE GOGO AWARDS NO ONE HAS RECONGIZED SECURITY OR BOUNCERS I’M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT Y THEY DON’T HAVE A CATEGORY FOR SECURITY OR BOUNCERS WITHOUT THEM THERE R NO SHOWS U HAVE A FEMALE OUT HERE THAT HAS HER OWN SECURITY COMPANY AND HAS BEEN OUT HERE FOR 14 YEARS AND NOT ONE TIME HAS SHE BEEN RECONGIZED AND SHE IS THE ONLY FEMALE SECURITY THAT HAS EVER HAD HER OWN SECURITY COMPANY IN THE GOGO SECURITY AND BOUNCERS ALWAYS GET THE SHORT END OF THE STICK AND THEY DO THE MOST WORK THEY PUT THERE LIVES ON THE LINE TOO SHOW THEM SOME LOVE TOO

I AM THE GOGO QUEEN. I PARTY SUNDAY THRU SUNDAY I HAVE SEEN ALOT OF BANDS BUT IT IS ONE PARTICULAR BAND THAT STANDS OUT TO ME AND THAT IS SUTTLE THOUGHTS. THEY SOOTH THE SOUL AND RIGHT NOW WITH THE TIME THAT WE ARE LIVING IN YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER. AFTER A LONG CHAOTIC DAY AT WORK YOU NEED SOMETHING TO SETTLE YOUR MIND AND SUTTLE THOUHTS IS IT. THE AMBIANCE IS GREAT. YOU MUST BE MATURE AND GROWN AND SEXY………

I’m trying to figure out why I’m not on this Committee. I have to be one of the biggest critics in the Go-Go Community. I like that ya’ll made the selection based on the last year(So ya’ll can’t be mad that Buggs(Junkyard) isn’t nominated for lead talker award).
Lemme break these categories down…..

Band of the year award?
Thumbs up to the committee on your selections. I agree on your selections.

Upcoming Band of the year?
I have a few issues. First, I manage the #1 band in Va(Mature Clientele Band) and we’re not on this category(Shameless plug). But, the committee has 7 bounce beat bands, and 1 grown and sexy band. Ya’ll need to separate the bounce beat bands and the grown and sexy. There are too many bands out there. Ya’ll should be doing all you can to get all go-go bands as much exposure that the Go-Go awards can bring.

Venues of the year…
I’m cool with these selections…. I wish that CFE could have been added. (Honorable Mentions…LePearl, Wow Wingery)

Promoter of the Year..
Once again, I’m cool with these selections… My only gripe is that Crucial Entertainment(Buck) and Bono Entertainment isn’t on this list. (Honorable Mentions… SE Productions, Big L Ent)

Male Singer of the Year…
Ok, this where I have problems… Mike Thomas and Mike Thompson are one and the same… But, ya’ll gotta add Shorty Corleone(Rare Essence), Ericky(TCB), Kalil(Facey u Know)

Female Singer of the Year…
Where’s Michelle Blackwell… C’mon GoGo committee..

Manager of the Year
Dumb ass category…. Band of the year and manager of the year goes hand in hand. Let’s drop this category and add a “COMEBACK BAND OF THE YEAR AWARD”

NorthEast Groovers, Raw Image, Trouble Funk, Junkyard, Essence Legends, OP Tribe, Pure Elegance(Let’s promote and hype the Go-Go industry)

Bounce Beat Band Awards needs to be renamed the TCB Award..
TCB are the kings of the bounce beat. TCB are gonna win this award. So, take them off this list, and give the other bands opportunity. TCB have already proven themselves…

At but not least “Song of the Year”
What in the world are ya’ll thinking…First, let’s rename this “Groove of the year”… Being a DJ, like to replace a few of these.. TCB song should be “Bust it wide open”, Reaction’s song should be “Gucci Bandana”, Backyards song should be “I got your man/Tshirt), Rare Essence should be “Your lookin luvable”, What Band, UCB, and Scooby joint are cool.

Wkys is the peoples station .. and this is the best time to listen to the people .. and really the Gogo heads that take gogo more serious then just “dance music” …. we appreciate the effort for a gogo awards .. but why is it never the right awards or categories?? why arent the people who live and breathe this genre asked ?? people like my self who could give a pure unbiased and honest assessment of the year in gogo and reward the right people and keep the popular masses satisfied …. what happened to bands like Faze 2,gameova,ueb,bwa,renegade. Like they been puting in work since day one and they have a big fan base. second of all new action should not even be in the gogo awards at what so ever. they are not even close to being known yet…like really. gogo is officially “DEAD” because of the 2009 gogo awards selections.
