Barbados-born pop singer Rihanna is headed in a techno direction for her next album. That’s according to a source who tells “People” magazine the disc will, quote, “give an identity musically.” The album is reportedly in the very early works and no release date has been set as yet. The source, who claims to be working with Rihanna on the disc, adds the solo project is, quote, “sounding great.” Meanwhile, Rihanna has collaborated on a track with Jay-Z for the rapper’s upcoming “Blueprint 3.” Rihanna sings the hook in the track titled “Run This Town” which also features Kanye West. Jay-Z’s album is due September 11th.
