(MYFOX NATIONAL) – Snuggies hit the runway during New York’s Fashion Week on Tuesday sporting new colors and patterns.
“You’re here at — let’s just say it — the future of fashion,” said host Ross Matthews, better known as Ross the Intern from Jay Leno’s “Tonight” show.
Models debuted the “blanket with sleeves” in berry red and passion purple, as well as patterns like animal print, tie-dye and camouflage. Kids also modeled the new Snuggie for kids.
Snuggies have become a pop culture phenomenon and recently expanded its line to include a Snuggie for dogs . Linda Holtz of the Allstar Marketing Group, the maker of the Snuggie, said that its much parodied commericals are meant to “have a little cheek,” but the company had no idea it would blow up in popularity.
