What inspired you to pursue a music career?

What inspired me to pursue the music career is the fact that I’m good at it, it’s been my aspiration since I was young. It was also because of how my fans accepted my music and to provide for my family.

What are your songs about? How would you describe your music for the public audience?

My songs are about my past and current life events, including the life events of others. I understand different perspectives of the world and am able to express them through my music. I would describe my music as versatile.

What would you say has been your challenge for you as an artist?

I would say my challenge has been getting everybody to pay attention to what I’m doing, because you know everyone is a rapper these days.

What would you say has been your biggest break, thus far in your music career?

I would actually say that I’ve had a few big breaks in my career so far. I’ve opened up for Trina at Café 611, for D’Angelo Red Man at Love Night Club and I’m blessed to have over 6,000 plays of my video “Good Life” across seas thus far. Oh yea, I can’t forget Method Man was personally handed a copy of my cd “Long Flight” that was just released on November 22, 2011.

What makes you and your music stand out from the rest?

By being versatile and being able to create songs for all genres of music. I’m a risk taker and I stay true to myself. I’m not scared to let people know exactly who I am, my music is personal.

How do you spend your free time away from music?

When you’re up and coming you don’t really have any free time away from music, because it’s a lot of hard work that has to be put in.
