(Brentwood, MD)  –  Some but not all charges are being dropped by the Prince George’s County state’s attorney’s office against a man who was the target of police gunfire this past weekend in the Brentwood area. Two county police officers have been suspended in the incident in which 19-year-old Ryan Dorm of Cottage City escaped injury.  Dorm’s attorney, Jim Bell, tells WJLA-TV that all charges should be dropped.

One officer says Dorm, who was suspected of suspicious activity at a gas convenience store on Friday, tried to grab his weapon just before a shot was fired.  However, police investigators say surveillance video of the incident does not support that story.
