The DMV’s own, Maybach Music Group rapper won his first BET AWARD for Best Collaboration alongside Miguel on the chart-topping hit ‘Lotus Flower Bomb.’ Wale showed DC big love during his acceptance speech “I want to thank my management Roc Nation, my label Maybach Music Group, all the program directors,” he said. “Is DC in the house!?!?!” *insert sound of audience going off* “Rest in peace Chuck Brown. There wouldn’t be a Maybach Music or Wale without him.”
