With his first single and video having great success, Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar wants the same for his second single.
If you have been hiding under a rock, the second single of Kendrick’s good kid m.A.A.d. city album is ‘Poetic Justice’. The track features Drake, and has the sample of Janet Jackson’s ‘Any Time, Any Place’, so it’s only right that the video has Ms. Jackson as well.
Here is Kendrick Lamar’s offer for Janet to appear in the video :
“I would say ‘Poetic Justice,’ that’ll be a good follow up single,” he said. “That’ll be a blessing [if Janet Jackson were to appear in the video]. Janet, c’mon, Janet. No paperwork with the managers, contact the managers. This is artist to artist. This is a young boy that looked up to you for years. Please, yeah, video, Janet Jackson ‘Poetic Justice.’ It’ll only be right.”
How awesome would that be if Janet Jackson says “yes”!?
