The February Issue of Ebony Magazine flaunts some the greatest, most influential and successful black marriages of the current time. This year’s “Valentine’s Issue” has the beautiful Megan Goode & her soul mate, Devon Franklin on the cover.

From NecoleBitchie.com

The February Issue of Ebony Magazine is always my favorite issue of the year, celebrating the hottest couples in Hollywood.  Last February, Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker, Beyonce and Jay-Z and President Obama and Michelle were celebrated on three separate covers and this year, actress Meagan Good and her husband Devon Franklin snatched up one of the three covers that will hit shelves next week.

The couple became the talk of the town last year when they revealed that they did not have sex before marriage, and Devon left mouths wide open when he revealed that he had been celibate for 10 years before marrying Meagan Good.  Now, that’s discipline.  Meagan tells the publication:

One of the reasons I think God put us together is that we see the world very much alike, and where we see it differently, we complement each other.

Ebony is giving us more than a few reasons to snatch up the issue, including two additional covers featuring TI and Tiny and Bishop T.D. Jakes and his wife Serita.   The issue also includes personal love letters written by TI, Bishop T.D. Jakes and Devon to their women.  Awwww!

Catch a peek at TI & Tiny’s cover plus an excerpt below:

Once I made my mind up that I was going to be committed to this relationship, I started being married then and there…Since I’ve been married, it’s the same relationship, we’re the same people. We treat each other the same way, and we’re just as happy now as we were before. -TI

Marriage requires work and expecting the unexpected. Don’t let other people design a marriage you can’t live with. Keep other people out your business. Every marriage is different. -T.D Jakes
