2012 was filled with several great movies and performances. The best of the best have been announced, and here are the results!
First I would like to congratulate Mr. Denzel Washington, for being nominated for ‘Best Actor’, for his performance in the movie “Flight”. This is awesome because he has another chance to win and Oscar, and make history. (Yay Denzel!!). He will be going against, Daniel Day-Lewis, “Lincoln”, Hugh Jackman, “Les Misérables”, Bradley Cooper, “Silver Linings Playbook”, and Joaquin Phoenix, “The Master”.
Now although Jamie Foxx and Kerri Washington weren’t nominated for their performances in the controversial “Django Unchained”, the movie racked up noms in the categories of ‘Best Picture’, ‘Supporting Actor’ for Christoph Waltz, ‘Original Screenplay’, and ‘Cinematography’.
The 85th Academy Awards (Oscars), will be hosted by Seth McFarlane, and Emma Stone. The Oscars will air February 24th.
