My leather so soft!!
From Beyonce’, to Kanye West, all the way down to the young Willow Smith, leather is a must have! Whether the classic black leather, or adding color, leather brings a certain edge to a look.
Some designers used leather for their entire line. At Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week, designers such as Jason Wu, Mandy Coon, and Alexander Wang used leather in the form of a dress (photo below).
While Reem Acra, rag & bone, and Derek Lam took the color approach to leather (below).
When done correctly, leather can be your best friend. Because of all the leather at the Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week, and the different looks of designers inspired me to play around with today’s “IT”…leather pants! I paired black leather pants with a fuchsia sheer top, creme heels and fur jacket. I also added a big brim hat to top it all off! Check out the pants and my look below!
