Finally justice has been served Prince George’s County Police announced an arrests in a high-profile teen murder case in Capitol Heights on Monday. 20-year-old Travon Donnell Bennett was arrested for the murder of 18-year-old Marckel Ross. He was murdered as he walking on his way to school on Sept. 11, NBC Washington reports.

Detectives believe Bennett shot Ross during a failed robbery. He has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges, police announced Monday.

The Marckel Ross murder is one of a string of unfortunate teen murders that have plagued Prince George’s County over the last six months. Recently, two Suitland High students were killed.
