Pull out your afros, bell bottom pants, and practice your moonwalk!

This Spring, New York will receive Detroit sound, as Motown: The Musical is set to premiere!  The project has been under works for some years now, and director Charles Randolph-Wright, is ready to show the finishing project.  Charles Randolph-Wright is an established actor, screenwriter, and director.

Motown: The Musical will take the audience through the rise of Mowtown, and the different challenges that were faced while trying to change music.  There will be music from the top artists of Mowtown, such as, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and of course the late great King Of Pop, Michael Jackson.

The Broadway previews for the show begin next month, March 11th.  Mowtown: The Musical will have it’s opening night April 14th.  If you so happen to make your way to New York, this is definitely a stop and show that needs to be in the itinerary!
