Cornerback DeAngelo Hall has been released from the Washington Washington Football Team. The Associated Press reports that Hall had two years remaining on the six-year, $54 million deal he signed at the end of the 2008 season. Twenty-nine-year-old DeAngelo Hall was due to make $7.5 million in salary in 2013, reports AP. Hall had four interceptions last season for a defense that ranked 30th in the league against the pass.

Tuesday, free agency is set to begin. The Washington Football Team have to get under the NFL’s salary cap by Tuesday, after being docked $18 million for a penalty concerning the way the team structured contracts during the 2010 season.
