Who else would be better to have on the cover of ‘Shape’ Magazine, but one of the ‘100 Sexiest Women Of The 21st Century‘, Beyonce Knowles-Carter?

The Megastar and wife of Jay Z is featured in the latest issue of Shape Magazine where she touches on a very sensitive issue with women-weight! Just 3 months after giving birth to Blue Ivy, Beyonce’ was back at doing shows and taking pics; something she promises to never do again.

“I gained 57 pounds when I was pregnant. I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight, because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again. I’m not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape.”

Beyonce’ adds that her vigorous dancing isn’t the only thing she uses to stay active and in-shape. According to Bey’s trainer, Marco Borges, one vegan meal a day, veggies, and lean meat is also what helps keep Beyonce in shape.

In the issue, Beyonce’ admits that she doesn’t want women to feel that they have to try and keep up with her. Everyone should find ways to stay in shape, that works for them.

“Not everyone is supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you, you.”
