Our prayers are thoughts are with Andre 3000 and his family this morning, as Billboard has confirmed that he lost his mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo. According to reports, Andre’s mom was found dead in her home on his Birthday (May 27th).
Sharon Benjamin-Hodo cause of death is not known at this time.
In lieu of flowers, continued support of The Starlight Camp (which she founded to help underprivileged children) is appreciated by the family, Benjamin’s spokesperson notes.
