While Sony is currently developing an upcoming fourth installment to the Men in Black franchise, it may be all for naught, as Will Smith has revealed that “three of anything is enough for him”. Although there could possibly be a very close replacement for the star of the film, if Big Willie decides not to return, he will still be missed.
How could they continue the saga without the star? That’s like Johnny Depp saying he will not be a part of the fifth Pirates of the Carribean…just odd. The Smith kids, Willow and Jaden, definitely have a fan base of their own, so maybe one of them would be a great addition to the movie chain. From the start of the movie in 1997, we definitely see that Will and Tommy Lee ‘ain’t no spring chickens’ to say the least, so maybe it is time for them to pass the torch to younger Hollywood.
Guess we’ll have to just keep waiting for Bad Boys III….
