Now we all know when it comes to Roland Martin 44, the former CNN journalist does not hold his tongue for nothing or maybe I should say fingers! Back in 2012 Martin was suspended for tweeting an offensive tweet and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) took action against him. I’m sure we all remember that tweet he sent out in response to the a David Beckham’s underwear advertisement during the Super Bowl of 2012.
If not let me refresh your memory… the tweet stated “If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him!” That tweet Martin sent out got him a lot of back lash and ultimately almost destroyed his career.
Recently, Roland is outraged at how some may find it acceptable for the cook Ms. Paula Deen using the “N word”. Of course he took it to Twitter and it started some heated conversations.
Certainly, Martin stood his grounds…
I agree with Martin for voicing his opinion. He pretty much feels it is unacceptable for anybody to use the “N word”. I conquer with that as well. Paula Deen I do not know what you have started but I hope all smooths out over in time.
