When most people screw up in life time and time again, people tend to give up on them. However, if you’re someone like Linsday Lohan, you get media-moguls paying to help you. Must be nice.

Word on the street is Oprah Winfrey is paying Lindsay Lohan $2 million to dole out advice to the troubled Hollywood star in an eight-part docu-series that will air on the OWN network. Winfrey’s network confirmed Friday that Lohan is expected to first take part in an in-depth interview with the Queen of talk shows in August, before debuting the reality special about her road to recovery (for the umpteenth time), which will air in 2014.

Lohan, 27, is currently spending time in rehab for a 90-day court ordered treatment program stemming from a 2012 car accident, and is said to have inked the deal while in treatment.

Lohan’s fame-whore mother could not be more excited about her daughter’s big pay check recovery. “She’s happy, she’s healthy and she’s amazing,” Dina Lohan told E! News. “If anyone is going to help mentor you, it’s going to be Oprah.”  Most likely we can expect to see Dina appear in the docu-series. “It’s about family…And I’m family.

We have a feeling seeing the Lohan family on the series will help us better understand why this chick is so messed up. Oprah, we really hope you get this girl’s life together.
