Unless you were under a rock somewhere, you couldn’t help but notice the influx of women wearing crimson and cream. The ladies of Delta Sigma Theta sorority painted the city red and took over Washington, D.C. for their 51st National Convention and 100th anniversary celebration. During the convention the leadership of the sorority had a special meeting at the Oval Office with President Obama. “@DSTinc1913 Congrats on 100 years of strong women doing remarkable things for our country #dst100,” tweeted senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, who joined the group.
