From The Sound Live:

Shaaliver Douse was the topic of discussion yesterday nationwide as he the latest to be added to the list of young teens who were gunned down by officers. The 14 year old was allegedly armed but the family alleges that the police have been acting rather shady about proving the weapon or even revealing the weapon. Police say that the 14 year shot at another man and then fled the scene. Police reports say they heard gun shots around the 3am hour and then Police nearby heard the shots and respnded.

Upon responding , the young officers 26 and 27, then saw Douse chasing a man in the street with a weapon. After ordering Douse to stop and he didn’t cooperate, officers began to pursue. Officers fired shots and one of the bullets went through Douse’s Jaw, a wound that led to his death on the scene. A 9mm semi-automatic handgun stained with blood was found at the scene of the shooting but the family refuses to believe that it belonged to their beloved Shaaliver Douse.

Commissioner Ray Kelly did publicly glorify the rookie officers and their decision but he did state, ” You shoot to stop. You can’t shoot to wound. That only happens in Western Movies. Regardless of the circumstances, this is a crushing blow to any parent.”

Speaking of parents, the family is demanding answer from the NYPD and their questionable handling of this case. Douse’s aunt spoke up, “They’re making it all up, there was no gun. It’s all a cover- up, it’s what police do- they kill and cover up. It’s not fair . It was my sister’s only child. You shouldn’t have to bury your child. My beautiful nephew got shot in the head. A mother of one now to bury her only child.”

Douse was previously arrested in May for attempted murder charges for a shooting a 15 year old, that case was dropped. The young boy was due in court August 23 for weapons charges.

With the influx of teens being gunned down in our Nation, you have to worry about what is going on. Fear is taking over.
