Achievements:
Cole’s first three albums, The Way It Is, Just Like You, and A Different Me were able to achieve platinum sales and scored two successful reality shows on BET called “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” and “Keyshia & Daniel: Family First,” which ran for two seasons and is in limbo of returning for a second season respectively.
Why She Doesn’t Compare:
Cole took some time away from the music scene for family matters, but upon her return she focused on dissing other R&B artists more notably Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. When Whitney Houston’s career sat still for some years she only blamed herself for not releasing any new material in the early portion of the 2000s.
