50 Cent has been prepping for a very high profile lawsuit against Sleek Audio in which the New York Rapper claimed that the company owed him $261,000 and of course Sleek Audio disagreed with that. The case went to arbitration where it was to be decided upon by an arbitrator who ended up deciding against 50 Cent.
50 has decided to keep the ball rolling and is looking to take the case to federal court citing that that the reason he lost in arbitration is because he was black. 50 Cent was slated to have a wireless headphone line thru Sleek Audio and was set to promote the headphones but the line was cancelled back in 2011, which 50 claims he was never paid the money that he was promised. Sleek however claims that 50 ended their business partnership prematurely meaning that they didn’t have to pay up.
Sleek says that 50’s claims of ‘Racism’ are a desperate move to evade arbitration. We’ll keep you up to date on the latest.
