Jhene Aiko is going to jail for life, and I think she’s quite alright with that.
In the video for her single “The Worst” from her upcoming EP “Sail Out” the LA singer/songwriter sings about a love she knew would go sour but delved into anyway.
In the video, the 25-year-old, who’s currently on tour with Drizzy Drake, is seen in a robe, enjoying her last glass of red wine and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, while the body of her one-time boyfriend lay lifeless on the kitchen floor. Her home is surrounded by police officers, and Jhene knows there’s only one way out.
This is the third release from seven-song EP. Jhene dropped the John Lennon and Yoko Uno inspired video for her song Bed Peace featuring Childish Gambino, and her Kendrick Lamar assisted song “Stay Ready”
