While many artist who were nominated for a Grammy (and other artist who weren’t even invited) are sounding off on Twitter or writing ‘Open Letters’ about being snubbed at the Grammy’s, others are keeping it moving. It’s actually encouraged them to work even harder for the next go-round.
Kendrick Lamar was nominated for 7 Grammy’s this year, and one of the biggest being ‘Rap Artist of The Year’. He lost to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, sending the social media atmosphere into a spiral.Macklemore even reached out to Kendrick to acknowledge that he had “been robbed“, and Lamar response was simply that he had to work harder.
