Actor Samuel L. Jackson has been in some of the most beloved and most hated movies ever to come out of the United States. Therefore, he is probably one of the most recognizable black actors of our time. Well, that may be true except for one entertainment news reporter.
Samuel L. Jackson flipped out on entertainment news reporter Sam Rubin on live television. Rubin was interviewing Jackson who is making the rounds promoting his new film “Robocop.” Sam Rubin took the time to ask Sam Jackson about his recent Super Bowl commercial and the experience shooting it. The only issue with that question is that Laurence Fishburne was in the commercial Rubin was referring to.
Once Jackson realized Sam Rubin’s mistake, he pounced all over him like a hungry cheetah catching a gazelle. Jackson screamed, “I’m not Laurence Fishburne!” Despite Rubin apologizing profusely, Jackson wouldn’t let up. “We don’t all look alike! And you’re the entertainment reporter?!” Jackson taunted.
After Sam Rubin realized Sam Jackson wasn’t going to allow him to save any kind of face, Rubin tried to get Jackson back on track and speak about the “Robocop” reboot, but Jackson responded to Rubin’s request with a strong “HELL NO!”
Honestly, the video is too perfect to be muddied up with a verbal description, so please just watch the clip below.
