Nas is helping to make college dreams come true.
If you have ever went to college and tried to embark on your career goal then you know it can be hard in that transition stage after graduation. It can be challenging to find a job, a place to live, etc. Well through his new foundation fund, The Nas Scholarship Fund, he wants to help make that process a little easier.
For the The Nas Scholarship Fund, the QB rapper has teamed up with Koru (an educational company) to help provide graduates with job training and placement. Certain participants in the program will also get financial aid, as well as Nas as their life coach.
Nas released a statement about The Nas Scholarship Fund.
“I’m inspired to support Koru participants because I know how hard it can be to carve out your path and purpose in life. It takes conviction, hard work and the right network. The young people going through Koru are gritty, book smart and street smart. The Koru program gives them an opportunity to put those smarts to work. I can’t wait to work directly with them and share what I’ve learned through my own life experiences.
I can hear the graduates singing now……”I know I can”!
