Many had a feeling that it was coming coming, now it’s official. J. Cole will be releasing his next studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, next month.
Cole announced via social media Sunday night that the album— named after the address of his childhood home in Fayetteville, NC— will be released 12/9 (only three weeks away!) This will be Cole’s third studio album; his second, Born Sinner, was released in June of last year. The news is also accompanied by a trailer featuring Cole going through his old neighborhood and reminiscing on his childhood.
