The surviving victim of Marion “Suge” Knight’s alleged hit-and-run testified Monday that he was “trying to forget the whole incident,” adding that he’s not a snitch.

Cle “Bone” Sloan also admitted that he punched Knight through the window of his truck before the incident, but denied that he had a gun in his possession at the time. Sloan, Knight, and another man identified as Terry Carter were reportedly involved in an argument on the set of the upcoming film Straight Outta Compton. At a nearby burger restaurant, Knight allegedly ran over the two men, injuring Sloane and killing Carter.

But during testimony, Sloane refused to implicate Knight.

“I’m not a snitch,” he said. “I will not be forced to tell on anybody…I will not be used to send Suge Knight to prison,” he vowed.

He added that he only appeared in court because he was subpoenaed, Rolling Stone reports. During testimony, he admitted to being the aggressor in the confrontation, but maintained that he was not carrying a weapon. Knight’s lawyer, Matthew Fletcher, believes otherwise.

From the NY Daily News:

“You called it a gun. It was a radio,” he told Fletcher.

“I didn’t have a gun,” Sloan said with frustration. “The only thing out there was my radio. Where he took it, how he took it, I’m not sure. I haven’t carried a gun in two decades. I don’t need a gun. I’m a filmmaker. I’m an award-winning filmmaker. I don’t mess with guns, and I’m offended by you trying to make this into a gun.”

The hearing is set to resume Thursday.

If convicted of murder, Knight faces life in prison. He is being held on $25 million bail.
