Somebody, or something, deserves the blame.

Whether it’s the Based God Curse or the Curse of the Kardashians or plain ol’ bad basketball, the Rockets, statistically speaking, are off to the worst start in NBA history after getting shelled by the Nuggets, Warriors, and Heat. Each loss has been by exactly 20 points.

Things are so bad for the Rockets right now that Miami actually trailed by 21 points in the second half of their game Sunday before winning 109-89.

Fingers are starting to point at James Harden, owner of the astronomical adidas sponsorship deal during the off-season, the current squeeze of Khloe Kardashian, and rapper Lil B’s arch enemy. After pouring in 27.4 points per game and nearly winning the MVP award last season, Harden is averaging only 18 points per game and shooting an abysmal 9.4 percent from three.
